Interesting. I like the theme of "Struggling." I think that's the point of the church's teaching as much as anything else.
Thanks for reading this link, Jason. I love it when someone on the other side of the political aisle writes something that I can hold on to myself--a notion that I can adapt. While Firmage is obviously a Democrat and somebody I can relate to, he writes in a way that also made you think. Buckley and to a lesser extent, George Will have provided those moments for me. "First Things" sometimes does that as well. That we still read It's a sign the the civilized heart still flutters.
Doug, I have just finished the blood pressed into linen page. Your craft is beautifull. I am very surprised and also glad I have met someone with a genuine passion for words. I would like to read more sometime.
